My journey to Bendigo was a wonder of what it is to experience Australia, light blessed light. A walk around Long Gully one early morning led me to see the town at its intriguing best. Whether it is the play of light and shadow on an abandoned church to the geometric shadow along a corrugated fence. As always the fauna is as captivating and no more so than the striking colours of reds in contrast to the summer dry grasses or greys against blue skies.
