responding to governmental changes: first in market clearing house solution

As the Design Consultant for Computershare Communication  Services (CCS) I was engaged to lead the visual and UI design of a new white label portal. Computershare has a Superstream product to the market known as Superpoint.

Superpoint was a Multi-million dollar, multi-year product initiative delivered via an onshore/offshore development model. It is Computershare’s comprehensive solution to the SuperStream reform to help employers, funds and SMSFs and the financial institutions meet the new regulatory requirements for Superannuation Payments. The UI and UX for this was a massive project that crossed a range of users and needed to be built using off shore development resources. I went from creating a very open proof of concept with limited user stories to quickly create a leading financial solution for one of the big 4. This needed to be a quality solution to deliver for NAB customers using them for employee superannuation payments. The solution needed to function as a Clearing house for employers, Private gateway for funds, Private gateway for SMSF trustees and administrators and enable eRollovers for funds. This required to build a portal for both banks and employers to use to generate the files and allow for validation and admin for user management. A key aspect of the requirements was that this would be a “white label” product for the banks clients. What could be changed to achieve brand voice was crucial as it would be used by internal staff. In the end we delivered a market leading product utilised by major banks and some of the largest employers in Australia.
